was the first dirigible booked abroad by military department.

Dirigible "Golub`" ("Dove") - 1910
Dirigible "Golub`" ("Dove") was constructed in Russia in 1910 at the
Igorskiy engeneering plant, Kolpino, St. Petersberg district. Projection:
professors Boklevskiy, Van-der-Flit, engeneer V.F. Naidenov, caption
B.V. Golubov.
Volume 2,270 m3, length 50 m, diameter 8 m, max. speed 50 km/h.
During the 1st WW it has made several intelligent flights, but didn't
cross the front line. In October 1914 dirigible was evacuated to Lida,
where it was disassembled. In summer 1916 dirigible was assembled again,
however it was parked on the open camp and its shell has bursted during
the storm.

Dirigible "Forceman" - 1911
Dirigible "Forceman" – the smallest in the world. It was booked at
Sweden by Russian military department. It was planned to purchase of
several dirigibles of this type for prospecting service in Russian army.
Whether this dirigible was delivered to Russia - it isn’t known.
Volume 800 m3, length 36 m, diameter 6 m, max.speed 43 km/h.
Because of small volume here was no gondola; instead of it was used wood
board as the place of seating of pilot and mechanic. Engine: weight -
38, capacity 28 hp.

Dirigible "Kobchik" ("Red-footed falcon") was constructed in Russia in
1912 at the "Duflon, Konstantinovich & Co" factory, constructor -
Nemchenko.

Onse, after one of the test flights, in hangar "Albatross" has bursted.
Dirigible was reassembled and changed his name to "Albatross-II".

Dirigible "Albatross-II" was constructed in Russia in 1912 at the
Izhorsky factory.

Dirigible "Astra" - 1921
Dirigible "Astra" was bought at France (1st name: "Astra-XIII", 1913).
Volume 10,500 m3, length 78 m, diameter 15 m, max.speed 59 km/h.
During the 1st WW "Astra" made six fighting starts.
From year 1915 till 1920 "Astra" was kept on the Aeronautic school depot.
At autumn 1920 at the village Salizi (near St. Petersburg) Aeronautic
detachment started to assemble dirigible. Later "Astra" was renamed to "Krasnaya
zvezda" ("Red star").

1913).

Dirigible "Parseval-II" - 1913
Dirigible "Parseval-II" (from other sources "Burevestnik" ("Stormy
petrel")) was bought at Germany (1st name "Parseval PL-14", 1913).
Volume 9,600 m3, length 90 m, diameter 16 m, max.speed 67 km/h.
This dirigible possessed the best flight qualities of all Russian
dirigibles before 1915.
At spring 1915 dirigible was disassembled.

Dirigible "Gigant" ("Giant") - 1915
Dirigible "Gigant" ("Giant") was constructed in Russia in 1915 at the
Baltic factory in the village Salizi hangars (near Petrograd, now St.
Petersburg).
Volume 20,500 m3, length 114 m, diameter 17 m, max.speed km/h.
This is the greatest of dirigibles assembled in imperial Russia. Was
damaged in the 1st test flight.

Dirigible "Chernomor-1" was bought at England (1st name "Coastal",
1916).
Volume 4,500 m3, max.speed 80 km/h.
It was ordered 4 type "Coastal" dirigibles at all.
"Chernomor-1" and "Chernomor -2" was made several flights.
"Chernomor -3" burned in hangar and made no flights.
"Chernomor -4" wasn’t assembled.

Dirigible "Chernomor-2" was bought at England (1st name "Coastal",
1916).
Volume 4,500 m3, max.speed 80 km/h.
Once in test flight one of the engines give up. Was made a decision to
land at the aerodrome near Kachinskaya air-school. During the landing
second engine give up too. In spit of it landing was finished
successfully. "Chernomor -2" was disassembled because the wind became
stronger and there was no safe parking. After it dirigible wasn’t
assembled again.
